1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how WorthPeeks ("WorthPeeks," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you visit worthpeeks.com or when an authorized administrator uses our internal WorthPeeks Publisher application. WorthPeeks Publisher is a private, owner-operated content management, publishing, and analytics application and is not offered as a public service.
2. Information We Handle
The public WorthPeeks product catalogue does not require visitors to create an account. Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and server or security logs.
When an authorized administrator uses WorthPeeks Publisher, the application may process account and authorization information necessary to operate the service, including Google OAuth authorization tokens and YouTube API Data associated with the authorized WorthPeeks YouTube channel.
3. YouTube API Services and Google User Data
The Google/YouTube data accessed may include YouTube channel identity and channel information; video IDs, video information, metadata, and publishing status; information associated with comments created through WorthPeeks Publisher; video and channel performance information; YouTube Analytics data such as views, likes, comments, shares, watch time, average view duration, and subscriber metrics; and Google OAuth authorization information and tokens required to maintain the authorized connection.
WorthPeeks Publisher may also calculate and display derived or aggregated information from authorized YouTube data, such as engagement rates and performance summaries.
WorthPeeks does not request, collect, or store a user's Google or YouTube password. Authentication is handled through Google's OAuth authorization process.
4. How Google User Data Is Used
Google/YouTube user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing functionality of WorthPeeks Publisher. This includes verifying the connected WorthPeeks YouTube channel; uploading administrator-approved videos; submitting approved video metadata and publishing settings; checking upload and processing status; preventing duplicate publishing actions; creating administrator-approved CTA comments; retrieving video and channel information; retrieving and displaying YouTube Analytics and performance information; calculating performance summaries from authorized YouTube data; and diagnosing and maintaining the authorized YouTube API connection.
WorthPeeks does not use Google user data or YouTube API Data for targeted advertising, personalized advertising, credit or lending decisions, or other unrelated purposes.
5. How Google User Data Is Shared or Transferred
Google/YouTube data is transmitted between WorthPeeks Publisher and Google/YouTube as necessary to perform administrator-authorized YouTube API operations. WorthPeeks may use hosting and infrastructure service providers where necessary to host, secure, maintain, or operate WorthPeeks Publisher. Such providers may process information only as necessary to provide those services.
WorthPeeks does not sell Google user data or YouTube API Data. WorthPeeks does not transfer Google user data or YouTube API Data to data brokers, advertising platforms, or other third parties for targeted advertising, advertising profiles, lending decisions, or unrelated commercial purposes.
Google user data is not shared or transferred except as necessary to provide or improve WorthPeeks Publisher's user-facing functionality, comply with applicable law, protect against security threats or abuse, or as otherwise permitted by applicable Google policies.
6. Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use
Google user data accessed through WorthPeeks Publisher is used only to provide or improve the application's user-facing features and for other purposes permitted by applicable Google policies. WorthPeeks does not use Google user data for targeted advertising and does not sell Google user data.
7. Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms
WorthPeeks Publisher's use of YouTube API Services is subject to applicable Google and YouTube policies and terms. Please review the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms of Service.
8. Authorization and Revocation
An authorized administrator may revoke WorthPeeks Publisher's access to Google/YouTube data through their Google Account permissions. Revoking authorization prevents WorthPeeks Publisher from continuing to access Google/YouTube data through that authorization.
Revoking WorthPeeks Publisher's authorization does not itself delete videos, comments, or other content already stored on YouTube. YouTube-hosted content must be managed through YouTube or an authorized application that supports the applicable action.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
WorthPeeks retains Google/YouTube user data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide WorthPeeks Publisher's functionality, maintain the authorized connection, satisfy applicable legal obligations, and comply with applicable Google and YouTube API policies.
OAuth authorization tokens are retained only while necessary to maintain an active authorized connection and are no longer used after the authorization is revoked or otherwise becomes invalid. Stored YouTube API Data is refreshed or deleted where required by applicable YouTube API Services policies.
An authorized administrator may request deletion of Google/YouTube data stored by WorthPeeks Publisher using the contact method identified in this Privacy Policy. Following a valid deletion request or termination of the applicable service, WorthPeeks will delete associated stored Google user data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or otherwise permitted by applicable Google policies.
Deletion of information stored by WorthPeeks does not automatically delete information independently stored by Google or YouTube.
10. Data Protection and Security
WorthPeeks uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect Google user data and other stored information. These measures include restricted access to the private WorthPeeks Publisher application, server-side credential and authorization-token storage, HTTPS encryption for data transmitted between supported systems, and access controls intended to limit Publisher functionality to authorized administrators.
Access to Google user data is limited to the functionality necessary to operate and maintain WorthPeeks Publisher. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
11. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The public WorthPeeks catalogue may use essential browser or server functionality necessary to operate the website. Third-party destinations, including Amazon and Google/YouTube, maintain their own cookie and privacy practices when users visit those services. If WorthPeeks introduces additional analytics, advertising, or similar tracking technologies, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.
12. Affiliate Links
WorthPeeks participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program. When a visitor follows an affiliate link, the destination retailer may process information according to its own privacy policy. WorthPeeks may earn a commission from qualifying purchases without increasing the price paid by the visitor.
Google user data and YouTube API Data obtained through WorthPeeks Publisher are not sold or provided to affiliate partners for advertising or affiliate-marketing purposes.
13. Children's Privacy
WorthPeeks and WorthPeeks Publisher are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly use WorthPeeks Publisher to collect personal information from children.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our services, legal requirements, security practices, or API practices change. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy identifies the latest version.
